I created this blog to review the zombie movies I've seen. There are a ton of them!! Some that suck, some that are really good and everything in between. This list will grow slowly. You'll probably see George A. Romero's name alot in this blog. Why wouldn't you? He's the "Godfather of all Zombies." I'll probably summarize each movie and then rate it somewhere on a scale of 1 to 10. There's really no rhyme or reason to my ratings scale. I may rate something really high or really low and then rate something similar exactly opposite. There may be some small thing about a movie that I don't like that might bring a rating down. The reviews are set-up with my most recent review on top, and the oldest at the bottom. Anyway, let's get started...

2012 Zombie Apocalypse

The film begins in June 2011 when the VM2 begins to spread.  Soon, 83% of the European population was infected. The virus becomes a global pandemic as it eventually reaches Japan and the United States. Months later, after the zombie plague has wiped out ninety percent of the US population, a small group of survivors fight their way across the United States to a rumored refuge on the island of Catalina.

This is another Ving Rhames zombie flick.  He plays the typical bad dude that he usually plays.  If you can get past seeing the same 4 or 5 zombies appearing over and over randomly through out the movie, overall it's not a bad movie.  The idea that "I always go for the arrows.  Nobody takes the arrows when they raid a sporting goods store." is actually a really great idea.  Some of the special effects are lame. but again, it's not a bad movie.  In fact, on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give this movie a high 7. Maybe a low 8.
